Critical Illness insurance is a form of supplemental health insurance that provides benefits should one be diagnosed with a covered critical illness.  Medical insurance does not usually cover all of the out of pocket expenses or costs for their family members such as travel and lodging.  Critical Illness Insurance also helps with deductibles, co-pays, drugs, and home health care expenses.
