I began volunteering from a young age with friends and family members to provide services to seniors. From making and distributing holiday cards at assisted living facilities, to working in retirement community positions, and eventually to caring for my own grandmother in her home, I have always carried a passion for care and advocacy. My love of assisting with insurance was born out of a position as a State Health Insurance Assistance Program counselor in Virginia in 2021. I learned that advising on Medicare and helping seniors and people with disabilities with their healthcare was the favorite job I've ever held. I advised on insurance, state assistance programs, technical assistance, and social programs in person and taught educational seminars, wrote articles for newspapers, and presented at community health fairs. Following a move back to Oregon, I continue to pursue the same excellence in service as I seek more opportunities to support all my clients in their healthcare needs.
